Can you believe it? It's nine weeks since we all made those New Year Resolutions - lose weight, get fitter, become richer, live a more more thoughtful life and leave a smaller footprint on the planet. (Anyone care to guess why they call them New Years Resolutions and not New Years Commitments. Actually, never mind, I think I know why........)

I love March. Beautiful days, cooler nights and hot cross buns everywhere, the perfect prelude to the Easter Chocolate Festival.

And at Scuba Warehouse, we have been busy......................

We have been flooded with divers booking in for our Master Scuba Diver tailor made programs - designed to make the most of your summer diving and fulfill those New Year resolutions.

If you are new to underwater adventures, March is a great time for diving, the cooler Xmas currents have receeded and parking is a little easier.

Struggling to fit a dive in on the weekend? We have mid-week Shore Dives on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and Boat Night Dives on Tuesday evenings.

A new once a year event that is not to be missed is the Scubapro Dive Day.  Join us for a boat dive along with the opportunity to dive with all the new latest and greatest Scubapro Toys and an after dive BBQ. Details are below.

Last but certainly not least, make sure you put the Club Dinner on the 26th in your Diary.

Safe diving.

Judith

Diver Therapy Thursdays

The end of the week is coming, the weekend is in sight and that means you should start your weekend dive planning - which means you should drop in for a drink with your dive buddies.  Join us between 6pm and 7.30pm for a glass of wine or a soft-drink and some great company - check-out your dive buddies latest photos and maybe even find out about some new dive sites. There is no better therapy to get you ready for the weekend.

Charles Darwin - Coral Reefs

It is one of the greatest stories in science, how an inquisitve 22-year old sails around the world encounters creatures never before seen and makes an extraordinary discovery that changes the world. This month marks the 150th aniversary of Charles Darwins Origin of the Species, a thoroughly researched and meticulously argued book that sent shockwaves across the world. Of greater interest to divers is Darwin's book Coral Reefs published in 1842, a fascinating set of observations that include his visit to Australia. We have a First Edition on display at Scuba Warehouse  and a 1910 reprint for anyone wanting a more hands on look or you can view online

Would you like to extend your dive time or make your diving much safer?  If you answer yes to either of these questions, you should join our Enriched Air Nitrox Course starting Thursday 12th March. Call now to enrol.
