Vanuatu.

Vanuatu, is a chain of 83 tropical islands in the South West Pacific, only a few flying hours from Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane on the direct service of Air Vanuatu.
Vanuatu is an idyllic destination for divers (novice to the most experienced), as well as travellers seeking a little adventure in paradise. The semi-tropical climate has a temperature range from between 23c and 28c with a rainy season from January to March.
The Melanesian people, known as Ni Vanuatu, who have populated the islands for centuries, are a gentle, peace loving race, intent on enjoying life's simple pleasures. The native language is Bislama with English and French widely spoken.
Port Vila is a delightful, waterfront town situated on the main island of Efate. For a long time regarded as a French town, Vila has a cosmopolitan image, offering great duty free shopping, sidewalk cafes as well as an excellent selection of fine cuisine restaurants. Accommodation varies from deluxe resort-style to self contained studio apartments - all within easy reach of the town centre.
Diving in Vanuatu is an experience not to be missed. From easy protected waters to shallow reefs and deeper drop-offs.
Of course diving in Vanuatu would not be complete without visiting the island of Espiritu Santo to explore the wreck of the "President Coolidge" a 33,000 tonne converted luxury liner, sunk during WWII. She sank in 1942 after hitting a mine and now rests in the depths from 21 - 70 metres.
