ANILAO, BATANGAS PROVINCE
One of the best diving areas of Luzon (the island where you fly from the US to Manila). This is a great spot, a truly complex marine eco-system of the most unique and diverse marine life. A macro paradise, you will never believe the weird critters that live here. The townspeople have made it a point to protect their surrounding reefs, as they know many divers come to enjoy it.
Club Ocellari
s is a very simple, yet comfortable accommodation with the friendliest staff, great home cooked food and knowledgeable dive guides. The "Club" is a favorite for professional photographers and marine biologists from all over the world who come to photograph or study the vast array of nudibranchs, opistobranchs and other small creatures in the area. Chances are, you will meet some of them during your stay.
Tasty meals, some of the best we've encountered, are served around large communal tables with either buffet service or family style service depending on the number of guests. Beds are 4 per room, each with large bath with hot and cold water.
This is like a liveaboard on land. The dive boats are on the beach just in front of a large area for rinsing and drying gear. Large drying racks under a magnificent shade tree are so handy we don't understand why everyone doesn't have them.
Dive Salana
Balai Resort

Dive Salana and Balai resort are also small quaint comfortable resorts in Anilao. They are serviced by Scuba World who supplies all the equipment and aqua sports.

Magnificent drop offs with superb coral life. Schooling jacks and barracuda thrill divers in these clear waters, Siliman University protects this wonderful dive area.
